Our client is a highly respected, long-established business with a strong presence in the Australian market. An exciting opportunity now presents for an ambitious candidate to join a high performing finance team,  seeing the impact of your work across the business every day.  The successful candidate will provide strategic insights and data-driven recommendations to support decision-making across operations, finance, and supply chain functions. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, evolving sector that combines traditional agriculture with modern business practices. Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse financial, operational, and supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, production, logistics, and marketing to gather and define business requirements.
  • Data cleansing and mining: identifying, validating, and removing errors and inconsistencies from raw data to improve quality and ensure it's suitable for analysis.
  • Develop business cases, models, dashboards, and reports to support strategic planning and investment decisions.
  • Assist in the implementation and optimisation of ERP systems and digital tools.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting cycles.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to drive efficiency and profitability.
  • Work closely with senior leadership on ad-hoc analysis and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Economics.
  • 2 - 5+ years’ experience in a business or data analyst role, preferably in a product-based multinational company.
  • Strong financial modelling and data analysis skills (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools).
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
