Financial Accountant

The Role: We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant with strong experience using Sage X3 and manufacturing industry experience. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, inventory management insights, and driving system-based improvements in a dynamic, production-led environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports and management accounts.
• Oversee cost accounting and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Utilise Sage X3 daily for GL maintenance, journal entries, and financial analysis.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, production, and supply chain teams to provide financial insights.
• Support audit preparation and year-end close.

About You:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• CPA or CA qualified (or working towards).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Proven hands-on experience with Sage X3 (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and cost accounting principles.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
