Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Information Technology Manager, based in Hobart, TAS, with the flexibility to work remotely on occasion. The Information Technology Manager will oversee the IT operations, manage the installation, support, and maintenance of hardware and software, and ensure cybersecurity measures are up to date. Responsibilities also include leading IT projects, supervising the IT team, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. The manager will collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement strategic IT objectives that align with business goals.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Information Security, Network Security, and Threat Analysis
• Proficiency in Systems Administration, IT Infrastructure Management, and IT Support
• Skills in Project Management and coordinating IT team activities
• Ability to stay updated with emerging IT trends and integrate new technologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills
• Proven experience in IT management or a similar role
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMI are a plus
