Job Description

Posted on: November 21, 2025

Are you a nurse with a passion for technology and a drive to improve patient care? Do you love training, education, and process improvement? This could be the role for you! We are seeking a talented individual to join the Stryker team as a Clinical Informaticist/Workflow Specialist. In this role, you’ll lead the deployment of Stryker’s Vocera communication solutions by designing customer-specific databases, optimizing clinical workflows, and delivering hands-on training and go-live support. We would look at East Coast locations - someone Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne based - this role includes interstate travel (up to 75% at times) as it is a growing space. Please only consider this role if you are open to interstate travel. You’ll collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance patient care through technology, leveraging your clinical expertise to drive adoption and maximize product impact. About Vocera: Vocera, a Stryker solution, is a secure communication platform that streamlines clinical workflows and enhances patient care. It enables instant voice and text communication via Smartbadges or mobile devices, helping care teams reduce alarm fatigue, prioritize urgent messages, and deliver timely information at the point of care. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement communication workflows tailored to clinical environments
  • Conduct workflow analysis and propose process improvements using clinical knowledge
  • Support clinical workflow design sessions (on-site or remote) by gathering data to inform new processes
  • Deliver training for Acute Care product users and support go-live activities
  • Follow defined deployment and education methodologies
  • Contribute to standardization of deployment processes and support new product rollouts
  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful deployments
  • Represent and build the Stryker brand at meetings, site visits, trade shows, and industry events
  • Maintain open communication with cross-functional teams
  • Communicate potential project risks to team members and partners in a timely and clear manner
  • Proactively manage individual expenses and time tracking in the designated system
  • Complete required training and pursue personal development to stay aligned with evolving healthcare trends
  • Promote a team culture rooted in honesty, integrity, collaboration, equity, diversity, and inclusion

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Registered nurse or enrolled nurse qualifications
  • 2+ years clinical experience, ideally in telemetry or critical care
  • Experience with clinical system implementations and workflow redesign
  • Background in clinical training and consultative roles, especially in travel settings
  • Passion for leveraging technology to improve healthcare delivery

Ready to take your nursing career in a bold new direction? Join a team that’s redefining how care teams connect, communicate, and collaborate. With Stryker, you won’t just support innovation—you’ll help lead it. Stryker is a global leader in medical technologies and, together with its customers, is driven to make healthcare better. The company offers innovative products and services in MedSurg, Neurotechnology, Orthopaedics and Spine that help improve patient and healthcare outcomes.
