Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer
Brisbane | Full-Time
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing Professional Services team in Brisbane.
This is a hands-on project delivery role working across a variety of customer environments, with a strong focus on Microsoft cloud, Modern Work and infrastructure projects.
You'll work across projects ranging from Microsoft 365 and Azure initiatives through to network upgrades, Intune and Autopilot deployments, SharePoint migrations and broader infrastructure modernisation.
If you enjoy project work, solving technical problems and working directly with customers rather than spending your days managing a support queue, this could be a great fit.
We're looking for someone who can deliver projects and engage confidently with customers, not simply someone with strong technical skills.
You'll ideally bring:
- Previous experience delivering infrastructure, cloud or Modern Work projects
- Strong Microsoft 365 and Azure knowledge
- Hands-on experience with Intune, Autopilot and Entra ID
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
- Good networking fundamentals across TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, switching and wireless
- Exposure to virtualisation platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V or Nutanix
- Experience delivering migrations, upgrades and implementations in commercial environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
- The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Strong customer-facing communication skills
- The ability to take ownership of technical work from planning through to implementation and handover
Why This Role?
This is a good opportunity for an engineer who wants to remain technical while building deeper experience across cloud, infrastructure and Modern Work project delivery.
You'll get exposure to different customer environments and technologies, take ownership of meaningful project work and have the opportunity to expand your capability as technologies such as AI, automation and modern cloud services become an increasing part of the solution landscape.
Occasional travel to customer sites will be required
