Are you an experienced ICT Project Manager with a strong track record in delivering successful projects and facilitating transitions? This is an exciting opportunity to lead a critical ICT shared services transition for a government agency. Your expertise will ensure the seamless delivery of services, while providing technical and managerial support to an in-house IT team.

Your duties will include:

• Developing and implementing a comprehensive ICT strategy aligned with business goals.
• Managing the transition of ICT services to a shared services arrangement, ensuring continuity and value for money.
• Providing expert advice to stakeholders and fostering strong relationships across the agency.
• Collaborating with business leaders to understand and meet their technology needs.
• Ensuring the security and reliability of IT systems and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the ICT team, including staff, budgets, and resources.

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

• Demonstrated financial management skills, including budgeting and compliance
• Strong project management expertise, with experience leading medium-scale projects
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and facilitate open communication
• Experience in transitioning ICT services within the public sector.
• Ability to provide technical and managerial support to IT teams.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
