Senior ServiceNow Developer

Company IT Consulting working with a Federal Government Client. Must be an Australian Citizen to apply. Requirements

• Design and develop ServiceNow applications and modules.
• Create and configure workflows, business rules, script includes, UI policies, client scripts, and other platform components.
• Enhance ServiceNow applications and integrations using ServiceNow’s scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Glide API) using REST, SOAP, and other relevant technologies.
• Perform regular platform upgrades and patches to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the ServiceNow platform.
• Integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools and systems using APIs, web services, and other integration methods.
• Develop and maintain data integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Conduct unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for developed solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and training materials.
• Solid understanding of ITIL best practices.
• Preferred candidates with background in Discovery (both horizontal and top-down) and Service Mapping. Understanding of network, infrastructure, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), and hybrid environments. Experience with MID Server configuration and troubleshooting would be ideal
• Proven experience in working with ServiceNow (Developer, Consultant, or Administrator roles) and expertise in ServiceNow scripting
• Experience in developing ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, Web Services, and other integration techniques.
• Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITOM (Discovery/Service Mapping), HAM/SAM is highly preferred
• Solid understanding of ITIL best practices and experience working with Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and client-facing skills.
