Financial Accountant

We are looking for a tech-savvy Financial Accountant to join our lean, high-performing finance team. This is a unique "1st or 2nd mover" opportunity for a Big 4 or boutique consulting professional to transition into a commercial, ASX-listed environment. The Role: 80% Core Finance | 20% Commercial FP&A In this role, you won't just be "doing the books." You will balance technical accounting with genuine commercial exposure:

• Financial Reporting (80%): Master the month-end process, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and support half-year and year-end statutory reporting.
• Commercial FP&A (20%): Partner directly with the FP&A Manager to assist with budgeting, forecasting, and delivering insightful variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Innovation & Tech: Use SAP B1, BigQuery, and AI to pull data from multiple platforms and drive reporting efficiencies.

What We Are Looking For

• Background: Big 4 or boutique accounting/consulting firm experience is highly preferred.
• Qualifications: CA/CPA qualified or in the final stages of qualification.
• Tech-Savvy: Someone "switched on" who is comfortable with BigQuery, SQL, and exploring AI applications.
• Mindset: A proactive, collaborative professional who understands accounting month-end processes and is ready to develop in a fast-paced retail environment.
