Are you a hands-on accounting professional looking to step into a commercially focused and impactful role?

We’re seeking a Senior Accountant to support a growing and dynamic operation within a national travel business. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role will play a key part in maintaining financial integrity, supporting operational finance, and driving process improvements across the business.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting
• Prepare monthly journal entries and variance commentary
• Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and credit card reconciliations
• Supervise outsourced transactional processing
• Conduct client credit checks and weekly bank transfers
• Investigate commission delays and drive resolution
• Collaborate with operations, project accounting, and admin teams
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Lead or support on ad hoc finance projects

What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar accounting role
• A tertiary qualification in Accounting; CA/CPA qualified (or working towards)
• Strong financial analysis skills and attention to detail
• Advanced Excel capabilities and confidence working with data
• Experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
