🧭 Drive one of Australia’s most complex and strategically vital defence acquisition programs—supporting the delivery of nuclear-powered submarines under the Sovereign Submarine Program.

📍 Location: Port Adelaide, SA  

📆 Contract Duration: 1 September 2025 – 30 June 2026  

💼 Engagement Type: Long Term (207 working days)  

🛡️ Clearance: NV1 (must hold or be eligible)  

🧱 Level: Advanced Practitioner (Level 3)  

🧠 About the Role:  

Be a trusted senior Project Manager responsible for supporting the mobilisation, secondment, scheduling, and delivery of the SSN Construction efforts in partnership with the UK and Australian Shipbuilders.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:  

🗺️ Develop detailed mobilisation strategies and project plans with the Australian Shipbuilder  

✈️ Coordinate and manage secondments of Australian personnel to the UK  

📄 Prepare and lead the clearance of critical project documentation  

🧑‍🏫 Mentor and uplift the capability of the Sovereign Submarine Program Delivery (SSPD) team  

📣 Deliver executive briefings, strategic updates, and stakeholder presentations  

📋 Provide status updates on all current and forecasted work and risks  

🧾 Submit monthly timesheets detailing hours and work performed

🎯 What You Bring:  

✅ Deep project management expertise in complex acquisition programs  

🏗️ Demonstrated experience in defence or shipbuilding environments  

🤝 Proven ability to operate at senior executive level and across teams  

📚 Strong documentation, scheduling, and estimation capability  

🧑‍🏫 Track record of mentoring APS or Defence staff  

🛡️ Eligible for NV1 clearance and ITAR compliance  

✍️ Willingness to sign Confidentiality and Security Deed Polls
