The Hunter Transmission Project is a critical infrastructure initiative supporting the future of energy in New South Wales. As part of the project delivery phase, the focus is on enabling safe, timely, and efficient construction through effective land access, property management, and stakeholder engagement. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a large-scale, complex project that plays a pivotal role in strengthening the electricity network and supporting the transition to a more sustainable energy system. About The Role The Project Manager (Bayswater) will see you lead the end-to-end delivery of Bayswater substation works within the Hunter Transmission Project (HTP), ensuring all engineering and site activities are effectively planned, coordinated, and executed in line with program objectives. This role is accountable for managing schedule, cost, risk, and quality, while driving stakeholder collaboration, resolving technical challenges, and delivering safe, timely, and cost-effective project outcomes. About You
- Degree qualifications in construction, electrical or civil engineering, project management, or equivalent experience in major infrastructure delivery
- Extensive experience leading multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Proven capability to set priorities and drive project delivery in dynamic, multi-stakeholder environments, demonstrating resilience and sound judgement under pressure.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach
- Demonstrated expertise in managing project schedules, budgets, risks, and resolving technical and commercial challenges
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel or work away from assigned location as required.
