Receptionist

Part-Time Receptionist Gladesville Veterinary Hospital (Primary), with shifts across Parramatta Veterinary Hospital & Ryde Veterinary Clinic

We are seeking a friendly, organised, and reliable Part-Time Receptionist to join our veterinary team, primarily based at Gladesville Veterinary Hospital, with occasional shifts at our Parramatta and Ryde clinics.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, loves animals, and has excellent customer service skills.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, you will play a key role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient front-of-house experience. Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism

• Managing appointments, phone calls, and emails

• Handling payments and maintaining accurate records

• Supporting veterinarians and nurses with administrative tasks

• Maintaining a clean and organised reception area

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous reception or customer service experience (veterinary experience highly regarded but not essential)

• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Is confident using computer systems and booking software

• Can multitask and stay calm under pressure

• Has a genuine love for animals and empathy for pet owners

• Is flexible to work across multiple clinic locations when required
