Role Details The Systems Lead, East is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of the organization’s IT infrastructure across ANZ and Asia operations. This role provides technical leadership, oversees system design and implementation, and ensures alignment with business strategy. The Systems Lead will manage complex infrastructure environments, supervise offshore teams, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver robust, secure, and cost-effective technology solutions. Your Key Accountabilities Strategic & Leadership

• Collaborate with IT Management to align IT infrastructure and cyber security posture with business strategy.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight for infrastructure and cyber security controls across the environment.
• Lead and coach IT teams, including offshore resources, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and security awareness.
• Drive ITSM maturity and implement best practices for incident, problem, and security incident management.

Operational Excellence

• Oversee implementation and maintenance of infrastructure technologies and platforms.
• Ensure systems are secure, resilient, and compliant with organizational security standards and policies.
• Provide oversight of cyber security controls including identity, endpoint, network, and cloud security.
• Manage data backup, disaster recovery, and cyber resilience capabilities to meet defined RPO objectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and security-related issues promptly and professionally.

Documentation & Governance

• Maintain accurate documentation of system design, operations, security controls, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Ensure adherence to cyber security policies, risk management, and compliance requirements.

Vendor & Resource Management

• Manage vendor relationships, including security and infrastructure providers, to ensure SLA compliance and quality service delivery.
• Forecast resource needs and manage utilization effectively.

Project Delivery

• Participate in IT and cyber-related projects, recommending fit-for-purpose, secure solutions and technologies.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and ensure timely resolution of complex infrastructure and security issues.

Your Knowledge and Skills

• 8+ years in IT infrastructure engineering and operations, including cloud (Azure, OCI), virtualization (VMware), storage (SAN), and networking (LAN/WAN/Wireless).
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Strong understanding of cyber security principles, controls, and risk management across infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Experience overseeing endpoint protection, patching, identity and access management, firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto), and security best practices.
• Ability to collaborate with cyber security teams and vendors to uplift security posture and respond to incidents.
• Expertise in backup solutions, disaster recovery, and cyber resilience planning.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and develop IT teams, including offshore resources.
• Skilled in negotiating SLAs and managing vendor relationships.
• Understanding of ITIL methodologies and experience improving IT service management maturity.
• Ability to lead infrastructure and security-related projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of SD-WAN, SWG/SSE/SASE, and IP Telephony (Webex).
• Familiarity with automated monitoring, alerting, and scripting for operational and security automation.
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline desirable but not required.

Physical And Other Requirements

• Some business travel may be required from time to time
• Occasional after-hours work may be required to engage with stakeholders and team members across time zones
• Hybrid working arrangement with at least three days in the office
