Your Mission
Vopak is seeking ready to take the driver’s seat of asset integrity and maintenance operations at a world-class terminal? Vopak Terminals Australia is seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to take end-to-end ownership of planning, reliability, and maintenance scheduling for our Darwin Terminal.

What will you be doing?
As the primary nerve centre for our Darwin assets, you will bridge the gap between engineering strategy and field execution:
- Flawless Execution Planning: Build comprehensive work packs, develop task risk assessments, prioritize backlogs, and coordinate with Operations and Darwin Ports to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption.
- Asset Reliability & Integrity: Spearhead FMEA, root cause analyses, condition monitoring, and inspections aligned with API (653, 510, 570) and Australian Standards to push asset lifecycles to their full potential.
- Contractor & Field Leadership: Manage vendor relationships, chair contractor performance reviews, review SWMS/safe work procedures, and step up to supervise in the field when the team needs leadership.
- Spares & Supply Chain Savvy: Keep the Darwin warehouse running like clockwork—managing critical spares registers, long-lead components, and procurement alignment to guarantee zero operational downtime.
- Data & Digital Systems: Champion our CMMS / ME2 systems, tracking work orders, manhours, budgets, and reliability KPIs across automation and digitization.
