Woods & Co Recruitment has partnered with a well established Wellness and Fitness Centre to find a HR Coordinator to join their growing People & Culture team.
This organisation delivers a range of community, leisure and wellness services and is known for its strong culture, collaborative leadership team and positive impact within the local community.
This role will see you support the broader People & Culture function across day to day HR operations, employee lifecycle management, recruitment coordination, onboarding, compliance, systems administration and employee support. Working closely with leaders across the business, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth HR processes and contributing to a positive employee experience.

What do you do?
- Support day to day HR coordination across the organisation
- Assist with HR administration, reporting and systems management
- Coordinate compliance training and learning initiatives
- Support onboarding and employee lifecycle processes
- Maintain HR calendars, documentation and employee records
- Assist with culture and engagement initiatives across the business
- Coordinate social activities and team events
- Support operational tasks including uniforms and stock coordination
- Work closely with leaders and employees across multiple departments
- Provide general People & Culture support across the wider business
What do you need?
- Experience using ELMO Software is highly regarded
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Previous experience in HR, recruitment, administration or coordination roles
- Positive attitude with a collaborative and team focused approach
- Comfortable working in a varied and hands on role
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
- High attention to detail and strong time management skills
- Someone who enjoys supporting both people and operations
- Experience within health, wellness, hospitality, community or service environments is highly regarded
