The New Path to Financial Freedom for Women
It’s no secret that Gen Z is reshaping the workforce, but what about Millennials? Many in their thirties feel they've missed the boat for financial and time flexibility. However, Sasha Eburne, a 39-year-old solo mum on the Gold Coast, is flipping the script—and she's showing others how to do it too.
From Corporate Role to $70k Months
In 2020, Sasha had been working in a corporate hospitality role for almost two decades, earning $85k per year. After maternity leave, returning to her job would have meant sending her baby to long daycare five days a week. Instead, she leveraged her event management skills to offer virtual assistant services remotely.
- Within three weeks, she was fully booked.
- In just five weeks, she matched her previous salary—all while working from home.
- By seven weeks, she was out-earning her corporate income.
By the end of her first year, Sasha had earned $125k. In her second year, that jumped to $358k. Now, five years later, she often brings in $70,000 a month as a business coach for women seeking time flexibility and financial freedom.
Building a Life, Not Just a Business
Sasha built her business with her baby alongside her, scaling it while raising her daughter. Her systems are designed to prioritize living over working:
- She has completed every childcare and school drop-off and pick-up herself over the past five years.
- She and her daughter spend most school holidays on international working holidays together.
- This year, she purchased her second home and has gone on over 12 international trips with her daughter.
Mindset: The Biggest Barrier
Sasha says the biggest block preventing women from achieving financial and time flexibility is their mindset. Her courses aim to build confidence—helping women own their worth, set their own hours, generate desired income, and live lives their mothers could only dream of in retirement.
She admits her greatest mistake was not starting sooner. "Covid gave me the opportunity to be a full-time baby mum longer than expected," she says. "It was addictive. I didn't want to go back to my 9-5 and miss out on time with my daughter. It was the push I needed to leave the salaried workforce."
A System Built by Women, for Women
This isn't a system designed for men and adapted for women; it's built by a working mum for other women like her. Sasha shared a client's story: a 90s analyst who wanted to work 10am-2pm but was denied flexibility by her workplace. She became a cleaner instead to avoid missing school events. In 2025, Sasha coached her to scale that cleaning business to earn $70k months within a year.
The Future of Work
Covid changed the world, making remote work not just possible but superior. It's the way of the future and women's ticket to "having it all." Finally, there's a way for women to be the mothers they want without compromising their careers.
When asked about her six-year-old's future, Sasha laughs: "Whatever she wants. The world is her oyster."
