Responsibilities

As a Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will:

• Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs)
• Develop high-quality Positive Behaviour Support Plans
• Support the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices where possible
• Work with participants presenting with complex behaviours of concern and psychosocial needs
• Collaborate with families, support teams, providers and stakeholders
• Deliver implementation support, coaching, training and consultation
• Maintain high-quality documentation aligned with NDIS Commission requirements
• Contribute to service development, reflective practice and team culture
• Provide clinical guidance and peer support within the Behaviour Support team where appropriate

This is a highly autonomous role with strong clinical support structures and opportunities for ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Behavioural Science, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Disability, Mental Health or related field
• NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner suitability (preferred Proficient or above)
