We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Designer to join our Newcastle team. As our client portfolio grows across the resources, energy and industrial sectors, this position will help support and expand our engineering and design capabilities. This a great opportunity for a talented and passionate Senior Electrical Designer to be part of a supportive and collaborative team.

  • Deliver high-quality 2D design outputs using Agilitus systems and procedures, with 3D design skills considered an advantage. Work across diverse projects to meet client standards, Australian regulations, and budget/time requirements. Build strong relationships with colleagues and clients while helping grow and maintain the Agilitus brand across industries.

Responsibilities

  • Undertaking Electrical, Instrumentation and Control drafting/design tasks from concept stage through to as built stage
  • Developing and improving Electrical, Instrumentation and Control design drafting tools for use across the team
  • Other duties as required to enable the team to deliver projects
  • Assisting with identifying new work opportunities and preparing proposals

Here’s what you’ll need

  • Diploma in electrical engineering or applicable drafting traineeship (or similar)
  • Experience and ability to use AutoCAD and/or Microstation
  • Exposure and/ or experience using Navisworks and Bentley Raceway Design (Desirable)
