Finance / Data Analyst – Transport ReconciliationBayswater | Temporary Contract | Global Transport Business

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance / Data Analyst to join a global transport business on a temporary basis, with potential to extend.

This role will suit someone with strong AR, reconciliation, and analytical skills, who enjoys working with large, complex datasets and can confidently match information across multiple systems.

About the role

You will play a key role in reviewing and reconciling shipment, consignment, billing, and invoice data across multiple data sources. Working closely with finance and operational teams, you will help ensure accuracy, consistency, and strong reporting outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile data across multiple systems and datasets.
• Review invoices, billing information, and shipment/consignment records.
• Analyse discrepancies and investigate variances.
• Support AR and revenue-related reporting and reconciliations.
• Use Advanced Excel, Power Query, and Power BI to analyse data and produce insights.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and customer teams to resolve issues.
• Contribute to process improvement and data quality initiatives.

About you

• Background in accounting, AR, finance, billing, or data analysis.
• Strong experience working with large data sets in a high-volume environment.
• Advanced Excel skills, with working knowledge of Power Query and Power BI.
• Strong reconciliation skills and high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Understanding of RCTI invoices highly regarded, but not essential.
• Transport, logistics, freight, or supply chain experience would be an advantage.
