  • Site leadership role delivering residential & commercial remediation projects up to $8m
  • Hands-on responsibility for end-to-end site management across multiple projects
  • Opportunity to join a growing national contractor with a strong values-driven culture

Leading the safe, efficient and commercially successful delivery of building and remediation projects, combining strong site leadership, technical capability and stakeholder management to achieve high-quality outcomes.

Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a wide variety of building remediation projects across the Newcastle region. This is a key leadership position where you will be responsible for managing on-site delivery from initial setup through to project completion, ensuring safety, quality, program and commercial objectives are achieved.

As Site Manager, you will work closely with internal teams, subcontractors and clients to drive performance, resolve issues and deliver successful project outcomes. This role is well suited to a technically minded Site Manager with experience in high-rise building facades or remediation works, ideally within the residential space, who enjoys leading teams and contributing to the ongoing growth of the business. There will be other commercial projects as well in the future.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation built on reputation, values, teamwork and experience, offering long-term career development and exposure to diverse remediation projects.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Managing on-site works from initial site establishment through to project completion
  • Ensuring compliance with HSEQ requirements and company procedures
  • Overseeing site plant, equipment and resources to ensure they are maintained and operational
  • Managing project programs, costs and budgets to meet commercial and delivery targets
  • Coordinating direct labour, labour-hire personnel and subcontractors
  • Effectively delegating work activities to ensure efficient site operations
  • Completing project progress reporting and facilitating regular site and client meetings
  • Providing advice on technical, trade or engineering issues where required
  • Driving proactive problem-solving and implementing innovative site-based solutions

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Trade qualification or construction background
  • Proven experience working on construction remediation projects
  • Demonstrated site management or frontline leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of site delivery, budgeting and cost control
  • Experience managing subcontractors, documentation and approvals
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines

Personal Attributes:

  • Strong site leader with the ability to motivate and support teams
  • Technically capable with strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with solid negotiation and influencing skills
  • Proactive, organised and solutions-focused
  • Collaborative team player with a positive approach to conflict resolution

This is a permanent full-time opportunity offering long-term career growth, exposure to diverse remediation projects, and the chance to play a key role in the success of a national contractor.
