Due to continued business growth and increasing demand, we are currently seeking a full-time experienced employee to join our team as a Procurement Specialist.
Role Description:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including reviewing, comparing, and approving products and services, as well as sourcing and negotiating with suppliers.
- Monitor, raise, and control the procurement plan and follow up under the installation plan.
- Perform stock-taking, order supplies, and maintain efficient inventory and warehouse organisation.
- Maintain accurate data entry, reporting, and documentation, including CRM updates and reconciliation of supplier invoices.
- Monitor and report of customer operations and project management ensuring visibility to all parties.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure competitive pricing, reliable supply, and compliance with company policies.
- Analyse pricing, spend data, and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare and coordinate solar system quotations and pricing proposals, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer requirements.
- Feed the procurement plan, request technical specifications from the engineering department, raise comparative and manufacturing reports to the upper managers.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to confirm product specifications, pricing, and availability, and support enquiries with clear product information.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- At least an AQF Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in a relevant field.
- Have at least 3 years of relevant experience in procurement or related fields.
- Demonstrate strong negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships.
- Possess knowledge of international and Australian markets.
- Show strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively and work independently.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel), Outlook, and SAP procurement systems.
- Possess experience in renewable energy projects (preferred).
- Demonstrate understanding of procurement processes, contracts, and supplier management.
- Be proficient in procurement systems and general computer-based tasks.
