Facilities Operations Manager

Job DescriptionAbout the Role: The FM Operations Manager will be responsible for managing Non Process Infrastructure (NPI) assets, accommodation and camp operations. This is a permanent position working on a rotating roster to various camps operating throughout Queensland. Responsibilities

• Responsible for Hard services delivery – CMMS, electrical and HVAC maintenance in remote camps and villages
• P+L duties
• People leadership – Supervisors and mixed trade team
• Strong client engagement skills, change mgmt. and customer focus
• Ensure compliance with electrical requirements and standards
• Manage minor works project activities for camp and site office assets
• Act as point of contact for the Client for all operational requirements
• Participate in audits and inspections
• Ensure strict standards for HSE
• Ensure all personnel are trained and competent in safe working practices
• Regular reporting to management and client

Successful Criteria:

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or relevant Trade (electrical preferred), or substantial relevant experience in a similar role
• Previous experience in a senior management or operational role
• Experience leading teams and mentoring
• Effective stakeholder engagement skills and client relationship management
• High level planning, analytical and problem solving skills
• The ability to work autonomously and be hands-on when required
• Experience working on a site based environment within the Oil & Gas, Resources or Construction industries
• Mobile camp operations & field experience
• Contractor management skills & experience
