The Apprenticeship

If you're currently completing an Electrical Apprenticeship and are looking to develop your skills within a global technology leader, this opportunity is for you.

Working within Schneider Electric's Digital Services team, you'll gain exposure to advanced electrical infrastructure, energy management technologies and digital monitoring solutions used across commercial and industrial environments.

This hands-on apprenticeship provides the opportunity to learn from experienced technicians, engineers and industry specialists while completing your nationally recognised trade qualification.

Some Of The Skills You Will Develop Include

  • Supporting the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical and energy management systems
  • Assisting with preventative and corrective maintenance of power distribution equipment
  • Working alongside field service engineers and technicians on customer sites
  • Performing electrical testing, inspections and fault-finding activities
  • Supporting power quality assessments, energy monitoring and data collection
  • Assisting with the maintenance and operation of Schneider Electric digital energy solutions
  • Working with monitoring, automation and energy management platforms, including EcoStruxure technologies
  • Learning how critical electrical infrastructure supports commercial and industrial operations
  • Recording service activities, maintenance findings and technical documentation
  • Assisting with site audits, inspections and customer support activities
  • Developing a strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and safe work practices
  • Gaining exposure to low-voltage and power distribution systems
