About the role
Are you ready to be at the forefront of shaping the landscape of transfer pricing issues? We're looking for motivated and strategic thinkers to join our Economist Practice team - a specialist group within International, Support and Programs, and widely recognised as one of Australia’s strongest transfer pricing practices. We advise on complex international tax matters, particularly transfer pricing, base erosion, and profit shifting, supporting both policy and compliance across the agency.
Your duties
- Deliver sophisticated economic analysis and advice on complex cross-border transactions
- Ensure alignment with the arm’s length principle to support fair and accurate tax outcomes in accordance with Australian law
- Develop international tax strategies and innovative compliance initiatives
- Manage, coach and mentor junior team members and support training on economic or technical matters
- Identify, analyse and resolve complex transfer pricing and profit shifting risks
Skills and experience
- Expertise in transfer pricing and understand Australia’s legislative and policy framework
- Economic expertise to provide clear, detailed advice on complex issues with confidence and precision
- Lead with vision, managing multiple priorities, stakeholders and resources
- Excel in communication, coaching, and team leadership
- Thrive in a fast-paced, analytical environment with global influence
