About the role

We have experienced exponential growth and require a contract Gold Coast based Site Manager to lead multiple commercial fitout projects in Queensland.

The successful candidate will lead this project to begin with and work closely with the project team, providing site management services. This involves coordinating trades, third-party contractors, and consultants to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to acceptable quality to exceed our client’s expectations.

Responsibilities

Scope of Works to include overall Site Management of Multiple fitout projects across Queensland.

• Co-ordinating on-site activities: coordinating the fitout and supervising the trades to ensure the fitout meets the IFC drawings and the client's specifications. Responsible for reviewing project progress to ensure the work activities align with the timeline and budget. 
• Managing tasks and schedules: Ensure the fitout project runs according to plan. Manage the schedules of contractors, suppliers and workers. Organise the activities to be undertaken daily and oversee performance on site.
• Controlling supplies: Co-ordinate materials and equipment necessary for the project. Co-ordinate with suppliers and responsible for keeping the site tidy and orderly
• Overseeing safety: Assess the onsite risks by identifying potential problems and finding strategies to mitigate them. Promote worksite safety through regular site inspections to ensure a tidy construction area. Supervise the construction areas and clear the pathways, ensuring the site complies with health and safety guidelines.
• Updating documentation: Prepare site reports and update various stakeholders on the project's progress. Record the project costs and analyse deviations from the projects. You also keep track of the delivery reports and material quantities and inform the relevant stakeholders

About you

• Ideally have at least 3 years site management experience ideally in commercial fitout
• Based in Gold Coast, Australia and be able to work onsite daily
• Exceptional team player and be able to work autonomously
• Outstanding time management, prioritising, multi-tasking and organisation skills.
• Strong communication verbal and written skills
• White card and ideally come from a carpentry or building background
• Enjoys working in a fast past environment
• Excellent computing skills and use of MS Office
• Ideally have a builders license or obtain a builders license
