Interior Designer

BDA is seeking a full-time, design-focused and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our in-house team on the Gold Coast, Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a collaborative and creatively driven studio, where you’ll work alongside architects and designers across a broad portfolio of residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.

The role involves contributing to all stages of design and documentation, with an emphasis on concept development, material selection, spatial planning, and interior detailing. We’re looking for someone with a strong design sensibility, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering thoughtful, well-resolved interiors.

Responsibilities

• Produce sketch plans, perspectives, elemental designs and elevations from concept design to detailed documentation
• Advanced technical knowledge required
• Set out all design aspects of the project and clearly communicate same to project team and consultants
• Integrate interior design with other design disciplines within our studio
• Liaise with client and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience
• Relevant qualifications and industry experience
• Proficient in ArchiCAD
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Full-time position
