The Cyber Integration Specialist will be supporting the E-7A Wedgetail AEW&C program and will be responsible for understanding our customers' evolving business needs and support the execution of a critical Information Security work statement. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who has demonstrated experience in leading teams, a creative thinker who looks for innovative solutions, and someone who enjoys collaborating with key stakeholders. - Creative thinking. This role calls for innovative and creative thinking. You will need to have the ability to manage, liaise, and work effectively with multiple project teams to facilitate development of effective Cyber Security outcomes for our customer.
- Leadership and learning. Leadership skills are critical to the success of this role. You must be skilled at managing stakeholders while fostering an open, inclusive, and innovative team culture. You will need to be someone confident in highlighting problems, seeing them as learning opportunities that create the opportunity to generate alternatives for improved future results.
- Technical pre-requisites. As a developing leader, undertaking the execution and allocation of priorities, for Information and Cyber Security, you will need to have well developed experience in System Accreditation, Security Engineering support and a broad technical understanding of Security Risk management.
- Collaboration. We need someone who places emphasis on a collaborative and co-creation environment to build cross-team cooperation.
Experience/Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Australian Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF) and associated policies and procedures including familiarity with the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) and the NIST Cyber Security Framework.
- Awareness of the Engineering Development Lifecycle.
- Experience in developing and implementing information security practices in an engineering environment (security requirements and verification).
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex security concepts to a broad and diverse audience.
- It is desirable that you have Project Management experience, ability to understand priorities, operate independently and collaboratively demonstrating end-to-end accountability.
- A desire to work as part of a dynamic team supporting a diverse range of technology.
- Industry recognised information security qualification is preferable and/or relevant experience.
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance - The preferred applicant will hold a minimum SECRET NEGATIVE VETTING 1 level and may be required to successfully undergo the security clearance vetting process at the TOP SECRET NEGATIVE VETTING 2 The preferred applicant MUST be willing to disclose all relevant and required information and MUST have lived in Australia, or have a checkable background, for at least the preceding Five years.
