Personal Care Worker

We have a permanent part-time opportunity in Home and Community support services, providing personal support for our clients in BrisbaneBayside suburbs - Wynnum, Cleveland, Bulimba, Capalaba and surrounding regions. As a valued member of our community aged care team, you’ll provide personal care and support that helps older Australians live independently in their own homes. You’ll be backed by a passionate, experienced team who are dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred care – and who will support you every step of the way. It is a requirement for our community roles all staff possess a reliable vehicle, valid Australian driver licence and be willing to travel throughout the region visiting clients in their own homes. About The Role Our Home Care Workers support our clients with personalised services and meaningful activities that promote their health, happiness, independence, and individual lifestyle choices. These include:

• Personal care assistance, such as showering and personal hygiene needs
• Assistance to continue to live well and positively (e.g. transport to appointments, shopping, house cleaning and meal preparation)
• Social connection and companionship

What do we need from you?

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging) or equivalent qualification.
• Australian Driver licence and Own vehicle
• First Aid & CPR
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
• Up to date Flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
• Evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations
• Experience in care role highly regarded
• Weekdays availability | No weekends!
