Plant Operator

Join our dynamic team at our Newcastle Recycling plant and play a key role in Building Something Great. Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, you will be responsible for the quality control of construction & demolition material active participation in the day-to-day site operations and safely directing both mobile equipment and vehicles on and off site. Your day will involve:

• Safe operation of mobile crushing & processing plant
• Mobile plant basic maintenance & housekeeping
• Quality control of demolition waste received at site
• Active participation in problem solving and continuous improvement activities
• Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and incident reporting

What are we looking for?

• Experience in mobile plant operation (Sales Loader experience desirable)
• Recycling experience highly regarded, but not essential
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision
• Availability to work Monday to Friday
