We believe that every child deserves a strong start. We partner with diverse communities in Brimbank, Melton, Wyndham and beyond, creating learning environments that are safe, accessible, equitable and culturally responsive. With many of our services rated “Exceeding” under the National Quality Standard, we are committed to excellence and positive outcomes for children and families.
About the role
Our Family Engagement Specialist is the first point of contact for families beginning their journey with BPA. This role blends family support, community partnering and engagement, along with enrolment coordination, ensuring families receive clear information, warm guidance and a smooth experience from first enquiry through to enrolment. It is meaningful, people-focused work based in our head office at Ravenhall, with regular community visits and occasional after-hours events.

In this role, you will:
- Guide families from enquiry through to enrolment
- Develop strong, ongoing relationships with maternal and child health nurses, libraries, playgroups, GPs, local community groups and other key stakeholders of BPA
- Support the launch, promotion and family onboarding processes for new kindergarten sites
- Attend meetings, visits and engagement activities with partners and centres across the western suburbs
- Keep track of enquiries and follow ups in our CRM and enrolment systems
- Support marketing and communications tasks such as simple website updates, social media content, email and SMS communication
- Create visual content during events and community visits
- Work closely with our Communications & Marketing Manager on community outreach and enrolment campaigns
Importantly, you will bring our values to life by embracing inclusiveness, striving for quality, leading with integrity and working collaboratively in everything you do.

- Flexible working options with a mix of office and community days
- Ongoing professional development and learning opportunities
- Kilometre reimbursement when using your own vehicle
- Discounted childcare fees
- Free on-site parking at our head office
- An inclusive, values-driven workplace where your ideas are heard and your work has visible impact
To be successful, you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in business, communications, marketing or a related field, or extensive experience in enrolments, intake or similar conversion-focused roles
- Warm people skills and the ability to build rapport and trust
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with families, educators, and community partners
- Ability to build culturally inclusive and respectful relationships, particularly with Aboriginal and diverse communities

- Ability to communicate in a second language (desirable)
- Confidence using (or learning) CRM or enrolment systems
- A valid Working with Children Check
- A current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
