The Role Cater Care seeks to appoint a Chef Manager at one of our key sites in Aged Care/Retirement in Port Macquarie, NSW. Permanent Full-time role weekdays only, Monday To Friday 900-1730 Organising day-to-day operations; this is the ideal role for someone who wants to provide a fantastic meal experience to our customers in aged care and values a well-run kitchen. Job DescriptionWhat This Role Involves:

• Dual responsibilities in food preparation / presentation and site management
• Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking
• Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
• Demonstrable team management, development & leadership
• Assisting the broader team as required
• Regular client meetings and dietary updates

Desired Skills And ExperienceThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desired)
• Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management
• Strong communication skills
• Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
