The Role Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint a Chef Manager at one of our key sites in Cundletown, NSW, weekdays only, 9:00 am till 17:30 pm. Organising day-to-day operations; this is the ideal role for someone who wants to provide a fantastic meal experience to our customers and values a well-run kitchen.
- Think on your feet: Quickly assess situations and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Manage a team: Lead, motivate, and support staff to achieve operational and service goals.
- Resident-focused: Prioritize resident satisfaction and well-being through attentive, compassionate service.
Job DescriptionWhat This Role Involves:
- Dual responsibilities in food preparation / presentation and site management
- Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking
- Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
- Demonstrable team management, development & leadership
- Assisting the broader team as required
- Regular client meetings and dietary updates
Desired Skills And ExperienceThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desired)
- Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management
- Strong communication skills
- Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
