About the Role
Due to continued project growth, Chalouhi is seeking multiple Site Engineers to support the delivery of a diverse range of infrastructure and basement works across the Sydney Metro area.
These roles offer an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects while developing your career in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support day-to-day engineering and site activities
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and programs
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with design, safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Manage and maintain technical documentation including RFIs, ITPs, and as-built records
- Work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Monitor progress against construction schedules and assist with cost tracking
- Conduct site inspections and support issue resolution
- Promote compliance with HSEQ systems and best practices
- Assist in the identification and implementation of process improvements
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 1–4 years’ experience in civil construction (open to graduates and early-career engineers)
- Exposure to infrastructure or basement projects preferred
- Solid understanding of construction methodologies and standards
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and manage field-based tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD, Aconex or similar systems is advantageous
- White Card and valid driver’s licence
