Calling all experienced Construction Workers to join the City's construction crew and be part of something remarkable! We are looking for dedicated, hardworking individuals to build the future with us. Multiple vacancies available across the Gold Coast, including permanent full-time and fixed-term full-time opportunities ending 30th June 2026. About Your New Role
- Undertake construction labouring works as required by the City's works program in a safe manner in line with implemented processes and procedures
- Construction of stormwater drainage infrastructure including pipelines, manholes, gully pits, outlet structures and associated works
- Asphalt placement and compaction to roadways and bikeways
- Laying and finishing concrete for kerb and channel, footpaths, bikeways and associated infrastructure including exposed aggregate, stencilled and stamped concrete
- Perform highly skilled tasks associated with of civil construction works
- Deliver works to a high standard in line with relevant project specifications

- A demonstrated commitment to safety
- Certificate II in Construction (Civil) and/or demonstrated relevant experience
- Current Class C or MR Drivers Licence (desirable)
- General Construction- White Card (desirable)
- A self-starter who manages their day-to-day workload
- A team player who positively contributes to the improvement of work processes and embraces change
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
