About the Role
As the State Manager for Victoria, you’ll play a critical role in leading the sales process, managing daily operations, and shaping the resourcing strategy across our Melbourne offices. You’ll be responsible for financial performance, member experience, team leadership, and operational excellence.
Your Key Responsibilities_Operational Leadership_
- Lead and support location managers and team leaders to deliver smooth and efficient operations
- Execute business plans aligned with company goals
- Foster strong relationships with members and internal stakeholders
- Identify and implement improvements in service delivery and performance
Business Development & Sales
- Drive occupancy and revenue through strategic sales initiatives
- Leverage your industry network to generate business opportunities
- Lead marketing and promotional efforts to strengthen market position
- Maintain strong awareness of competitor landscape and market trends
Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead, train, and develop a high-performing member services team
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, rosters, and leave planning
- Model and promote a positive, values-driven workplace culture
- Ensure performance and growth conversations are regular and constructive
Financial Oversight
- Manage location-level P&Ls, ensuring accurate revenue capture across services
- Oversee member invoicing, service alignment, and financial reporting
- Supervise discretionary spending and drive efficiency in supplier coordination
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years’ experience in operations, serviced offices, or a client-facing leadership role
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive business growth
- Background in professional services, hotels, or flexible workspace preferred
- Exceptional communication, organisation, and time management skills
- Eye for detail and a passion for delivering premium service
- A confident, adaptable, people-first leader
- Qualifications in Business, Management or Administration are a bonus, but not essential.
