Job Description

Posted on: July 28, 2026

CO-architecture is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to manage and improve our paid acquisition campaigns, with a strong focus on Google Ads, Meta ads, lead generation and emerging AI-powered advertising tools.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands how to build, manage and optimise campaigns that generate qualified leads not just clicks or impressions. You will work closely with the founders and marketing team to improve campaign performance, test new acquisition channels and help us reach more homeowners looking for architects and designers.

About CO-architecture

CO-architecture is an Australian platform connecting homeowners with architects, interior designers and building designers.

We are a growing, founder-led business with a national audience, a community of leading design practices and a social reach of more than 550,000 people. Our platform supports homeowners through the design and construction process while helping studios access new clients, visibility, industry opportunities and business support.

The Role

You will take ownership of the day-to-day management and optimisation of our paid advertising campaigns, primarily across Google Ads, Meta Ads and AI.

You will also help us explore how AI can improve campaign targeting, creative development, automation, lead qualification and overall advertising performance.

The role is focused on generating high-quality homeowner leads and improving the efficiency of our marketing spend.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimise Google Search, Performance Max, Display and remarketing campaigns.
  • Build campaigns around high-intent searches for architects, interior designers and building designers.
  • Conduct keyword research and maintain negative keyword lists.
  • Improve conversion rates, cost per lead and overall return on advertising spend.
  • Monitor lead quality rather than relying solely on platform-level metrics.
  • Develop landing page, campaign and conversion-rate testing plans.
  • Create clear campaign structures, audience segments and geographic targeting strategies.
  • Review tracking across Google Ads, Google Analytics and related platforms.
  • Build reporting that clearly explains performance, lead quality and recommended actions.
  • Test new ad formats, channels, audiences and campaign strategies.
  • Use AI tools to support ad copy development, keyword research, creative testing, campaign analysis and workflow automation.
  • Explore emerging AI-powered advertising platforms and identify opportunities relevant to the business.
  • Work with our internal creative and marketing team to develop stronger advertising assets.
  • Assist with Meta Ads and other paid acquisition channels where required.
  • Keep up to date with changes across Google Ads, search behaviour, attribution and AI-driven advertising.

About You

You are commercially minded, analytical and comfortable taking ownership of campaign performance.

You understand that a successful campaign needs to produce qualified leads and genuine business outcomes—not simply traffic, reach or engagement.

You will ideally have:

  • Two or more years of experience managing performance marketing campaigns.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Ads.
  • Experience running lead-generation campaigns.
  • A solid understanding of conversion tracking, attribution and campaign reporting.
  • Experience using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • The ability to analyse campaign performance and identify practical improvements.
  • Strong written communication skills and confidence developing ad copy.
  • An interest in AI, automation and emerging advertising technology.
  • Experience working with meaningful monthly advertising budgets.
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating with a small internal team.

Highly Regarded

  • Experience advertising professional services, property, architecture, construction or high-value consumer services.
  • Experience generating leads for products or services with longer decision-making cycles.
  • Knowledge of Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads or Microsoft Advertising.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and lead-quality reporting.
  • Experience improving landing pages and conversion funnels.
  • Familiarity with AI creative, campaign automation and lead-scoring tools.

Why Join CO-architecture?

You will join a growing Australian technology and design business at an important stage of its development.

This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of performance marketing, work directly with the founders and influence how we scale our acquisition strategy nationally.
