Design & Engineering CPP has the largest in-house design and engineering team of any contractor in Australia, with over 150 specialists across Electrical Primary and Secondary, Civil, Structural, and SCADA disciplines. We provide end-to-end engineering solutions for high-voltage infrastructure, from nationally significant transmission projects, HV substations, wind farms and battery storage systems that drive Australia’s renewable energy transition. Our engineers work closely with construction and operations teams, ensuring designs are practical, constructible, and continually refined through real-world feedback. The Opportunity We’re expanding our civil design engineering capability and are looking for two Senior Civil Engineers to join CPP’s highly experienced in-house team. If you’re passionate about complex civil design and want to contribute to renewable energy infrastructure, this is your chance to make a real, national impact. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering innovative, practical, and safe designs for high-voltage substations, battery storage systems and renewable energy projects. You’ll provide technical guidance across a range of civil elements, including stormwater drainage, earthworks, pavements and access road design. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, project managers, and construction professionals, you’ll ensure that all designs are compliant, constructible, and aligned with project requirements. In addition to your design responsibilities, you’ll also contribute to mentoring design engineers and graduates, fostering technical development within the team, and supporting ongoing innovation and continuous improvement across our civil design processes. About YouDesired Skills and Experience To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Possess

• A degree in Civil Engineering (RPEQ or CPEng highly regarded)
• 7+ years of experience in civil design, ideally within energy, utilities, mining or large infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of Australian design standards
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• Whilst not essential, experience in High-Voltage (HV) substation and/or utility grid connections civil design will be highly regarded
