Senior Project Manager

Company:

ConsultANZ is looking for a Senior Project Manager for a Road Maintenance project in Sydney.

Main Duties:

• Oversee design management, coordinating and liaising with external designers
• Perform design reviews and provide oversight to ensure engineering standards and project requirements are met.
• Understand and interpret design briefs, ensuring alignment with project scope and objectives.
• Lead construction management activities, monitoring progress, quality, and safety on site.
• Act as the primary interface between designers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance on small-to-medium scale civil infrastructure projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in design management and construction management for civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of road maintenance projects, including slopes, culverts, bridges, lane widening, and slip-road upgrades.
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring and managing project engineers.
• Strong understanding of design briefs and engineering standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a newly established role while reporting to the Engineering Manager.
