ABOUT US

Born in Australia, loved around the world.

At Cotton On, we know good style goes well beyond what's in your wardrobe. We’re here to inspire, spark joy and bolster self-expression and creativity. We want our community to feel seen, heard and celebrated, and as a brand, we want to use our voice to make a positive difference in people's lives.

We’re playfully rebellious and always optimistic. Join our world and let's do good things together.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Commercial Operations Manager to join our team. You will play a key role in strengthening how we plan, build, launch, and sell products, while shaping the long‑term commercial strategy. You’ll be responsible for optimising the Product Operating Model and leading the development of our 3‑year business plan - turning growth ambitions into clear, actionable pathways. Working closely with subject matter experts across the business, you’ll ensure our core commercial processes operate with clarity, consistency, and accountability.

You’ll uncover how things work today, map and document our processes end‑to‑end, and lead improvements that enhance efficiency and scalability across the Product Operating Model of Plan It, Range It, Launch It, and Sell It. From identifying gaps and bottlenecks to designing frameworks that enable better decision‑making, you’ll help teams work smarter and more cohesively.

Beyond building the plan, you’ll monitor progress, track key milestones, and provide insight and support to the leadership team - ensuring momentum, visibility, and accountability remain strong. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and operations, offering the opportunity to influence how the business grows while shaping best‑practice ways of working across the commercial function. If you're someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity and turning plans into outcomes, then let's chat!

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in process design, operations, or business improvement - ideally within retail, product, or FMCG.
  • A solid understanding of product lifecycle and go-to-market processes.
  • Experience leading or supporting cross-functional change and rollout initiatives.
  • A love for problem solving and simplifying complexity into clear frameworks.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator who brings people on the journey.
  • Organised and detail-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong documentations skills.
