NSW (Flexible) We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to support our growing portfolio of environmental and infrastructure projects. In this role, you’ll work closely with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure contracts are executed effectively, risks are managed, and commercial outcomes are achieved. This is a key support role within our delivery team — ideal for someone who thrives on structure, understands compliance, and brings strong commercial awareness to fast-moving environments. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and administer contracts, subcontracts, and supplier agreements
  • Monitor contract performance, variations, claims, and deliverables
  • Assist with procurement, tender evaluations, and negotiation processes
  • Maintain accurate contract records, registers, and documentation
  • Support financial reporting, progress claims, and cost tracking
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations are met
  • Ensure compliance with legislative and project-specific requirements

About You

  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a contracts, commercial, or project administration role (construction, environmental, or infrastructure sectors preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with project management tools
  • Able to read and interpret contract terms, scopes of work, and schedules
  • A proactive problem-solver who enjoys working in a small, hands-on team environment

How to Apply Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia. To apply, send your cover letter and CV to nick@cowman.com.au. We appreciate your interest and will be in touch with shortlisted candidates. Why Join Cowman?

  • Work across meaningful projects in the environmental, remediation, and infrastructure space
  • Be part of a high-performing, values-driven team
  • Flexible working arrangements and opportunities for growth
  • Make a real impact in a company where your contribution is valued
