Are you ready to elevate your career and make a significant impact? Deloitte's Tax and Legal team is seeking a talented Manager to join our dynamic and innovative team. In this role, you will lead engagements and teams on some of our most preeminent Global and Australian clients as we team with them in tackling their most complex commercial challenges. You will apply your emerging market leading corporate tax knowledge while contributing to high-impact projects alongside the brightest minds in the profession. What will your typical day look like? • Providing core technical income tax compliance support and expert tax advice and services to some of the region’s largest businesses. You will advise a diverse range of clients on a wide range of income tax matters.
• Lead a range of teams of people and clients across various industries, providing strategic tax advice and simplifying tax management.
• Tackling complex tax technical and business issues on client projects, including tax structuring, transactions, tax consolidation, cross border transactions, tax controversary and governance
• leading the delivery of innovative solutions.
• Fostering and maintaining strong relationships with clients and team members, ensuring effective collaboration and communication
• Acting as career coach for your allocated team members, including providing performance feedback and career development opportunities for more junior team members
• Continuously developing your technical and professional skills and those of your team through mentoring and training opportunities.

• Excellent judgement, relationship-building skills, and a collaborative approach
• A passion for client service and teamwork, with excellent analytical and communication skills
• Strong numerical skills and confidence in using Excel
• A confident self-starter, you are able to pro-actively manage and prioritise your client work
• Professional curiosity and a desire to learn, grow, and develop continuously and to apply innovative thinking, including use of new technologies
• A quality and risk management mindset
• A qualification in Accounting, Taxation, Law, or a related field
• Relevant tax experience from a Big 4, legal, or mid-tier professional services firm.
