About The Role To implement and manage appropriate learning programs for students and to assess individual student progress. To assist the Principal in the general educational leadership, management and administration of a particular sector of a school or college.

  • Co-leads the development of a common approach to inclusive practices across the school. Leads staff to provide inclusive practice and intervention in line with the HCHS MTSS framework.
  • Mentors and coaches school staff to develop and maintain effective inclusive practices to maximise learning outcomes for students with diverse learning needs across the school.
  • Collaborates with relevant APs and ASTs to manage and support complex student education and support matters

  • A registered teacher with full registration within the meaning of the Teachers Registration Act 2000.
  • Qualifications as established by the Tasmanian Industrial Commission in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award, 2005.
  • Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with a registration Status – Employment

Desirable

  • Four years or more training as defined in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award 2005.
