Site Engineer - Commercial New Build

The Company You will join a Tier 2 Construction Head Contractor working on a $100m+ new build project in Canberra. About The Role You will join the team as Site Engineer as construction begins on a major new build project in Canberra. Working closely with the Project team and reporting to the Project Manager on the project you will:

• Oversee and manage on-site construction activities
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, including government officials and contractors
• Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports
• Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues promptly
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and budgeting processes

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction management or related field.
• Must be an Australian Citizen
• Proven experience in site or project engineering roles, preferably on large-scale government projects. 1-4 years
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
