About The Opportunity Join our structures team and play a key role in supporting the planning, delivery, and management of rail structures projects, including maintenance, reactive repairs, and new construction works.
- Support and manage the planning and delivery of structures projects, including maintenance and new construction and ensure the project outcomes are achieved.
- Responsible for executing the project objectives including scope, costs, schedule, safety, environmental impact, approvals, reliability, and maintainability for assigned projects from the approved Annuals Works Plan.
- Managing individual assigned projects or supporting a project manager to deliver a larger project or program of works.
- Provide support in project monitoring and reporting to evaluate project and program performance and escalate emerging issues and risks
- Support project communications with internal and external stakeholders and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with ARTC’s Safety and Environmental Management System.
What do we want from you?
- Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience in project management or construction within rail, civil, structures, or related infrastructure environments.
- Experience in the administration, management and delivery of asset maintenance in the form of major periodic maintenance and capital improvements
- Strong understanding of WH&S principles, rail safety legislation, and risk management.
- Current Class C Driver's Licence.

About The Team Our Operations team works with a diverse customer base to support several nationally significant supply chains. With management responsibility spanning across five states, our 8,500km rail network is used to transport bulk products, passenger and general freight, including steel and a vast array of consumer items such as groceries, electrical goods and other items for both import and export markets. The Operations teams work within several complex and challenging environments, including some of the busiest rail corridors in Australia to deliver safe, efficient and sustainable service delivery outcomes for its customers, stakeholders and the community.
