Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business strategies to expand the customer base, grow revenue, and increase gross profit.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities while managing and strengthening key customer relationships.
- Lead tender management, solution design, pricing, contract negotiations, and agreement finalisation.
- Analyse market trends, competitors, and growth opportunities, providing clear reports and presentations.
- Collaborate nationally and internationally, providing leadership in areas of sector strength and supporting opportunity development.
- Ensure smooth project execution by coordinating with operational and administrative teams, including handling complaints and customs/project support.
- Build and maintain partnerships with carriers, hauliers, and service providers to strengthen cooperation and service delivery.
- Execute any other duties assigned by your manager that fall within the general scope of the role.
Key Accountabilities
- Drive business growth by developing strategies, identifying opportunities, and expanding the customer base to increase revenue and profitability.
- Build, manage, and strengthen long-term relationships with key customers, new clients, and business partners.
- Lead tender processes, solution design, pricing, contract negotiations, and agreement finalisation.
- Analyse and report on market trends, competitors, and growth opportunities to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Strengthen alliances with carriers, hauliers, and service providers to improve service delivery and cooperation.
- Represent the business through regular client appointments, networking, and the introduction of new contacts.
- Collaborate nationally and internationally to support business opportunities and provide leadership in sector strengths.
To be successful, you will need:
- 5-10 years of experience in the field of Project & Heavy lift transportation, in a similar role
- Bachelor Degree in Business or Project Management – desired
- Proficiency with CRM Systems
- Strong communication, analytical, and commercial negotiation skills
- High attention to detail and a proactive work ethic
- Ability to work independently, under pressure, and manage multiple priorities:
