Service Technician - Industrial

We are seeking a Service Technician to join our Service business, to service Automatic and Industrial doors. This position will mainly involve breakdowns and some major works to Industrial Doors and Specialty Products. You may also be required to provide support to other dormakaba product in the form of Commissioning & Installation of products. To contribute to the ongoing success of maintaining our renowned reputation for our products, we offer a 24/7 service to our customers. As a result of this commitment to our customers, there will be a requirement for you to be on an after-hours on call roster on a rotational basis. What You Will Do

• Carry out preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and electrical fault finding across automatic doors and access solutions
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships with customers onsite
• Complete accurate service reports, documentation and updates through service management systems and mobile applications
• Work independently across your assigned service region while maintaining safety and quality standards

What We Require

• Current A-Grade Electrical Licence or strong electrical service background highly regarded
• Solid electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting capability across service environments
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and customer service skills

What We Prefer

• Experience with automatic doors, roller doors, access solutions or industrial electrical equipment highly regarded
• Experience in a field service or customer-facing technical environment
• Understanding of electrical safety principles and preventative maintenance activities
