This position sits at the intersection of finance, asset management, and strategy, offering exposure to operating renewable energy assets and newly acquired or commissioned projects across the asset lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform portfolio-level scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess performance, risk, and capital exposure across renewable energy assets.
- Consolidate asset-level financial outputs and key assumptions to support forecasting, planning, and strategic decision-making.
- Maintain and operate financial models for existing operating assets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and suitability for ongoing use.
- Support the onboarding of new assets into portfolio and operational models following acquisition or commissioning, including validation of assumptions and model structure.
- Update asset and portfolio models for changes in market pricing, operating costs, generation forecasts, and economic assumptions.
- Work closely with asset management, investment, and development teams to understand asset performance drivers and reflect these accurately in financial models.
- Ensure appropriate model governance, documentation, and version control across the modelling suite.
- Assist with ad hoc analysis to support business initiatives, investor reporting, and strategic reviews.
Skills & Experience
- Strong financial modelling capability, ideally within infrastructure, energy, or renewables.
- Experience performing scenario and sensitivity analysis at an asset or portfolio level.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with portfolio or asset management systems is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment.
