🔍 About the Role
We're looking for a creative and adaptable Visual Designer to join our fast-paced learning consultancy. In this role, you'll help bring learning experiences to life by designing clear, engaging, and visually compelling materials across multiple formats. Your work will span PowerPoint presentations, eLearning modules, learning frameworks, marketing materials, and more.
This is a design role at the intersection of learning, storytelling, and communication. You'll work closely with learning designers, consultants, and content developers to ensure our learning experiences are not only effective — but visually inspiring.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- PowerPoint and Visual Design
- Create polished, on-brand presentations for workshops and client engagements, with a focus on visual clarity and engagement.
- Template and Style Guide Development
- Design and maintain visual identity systems, templates, and documentation to ensure consistency across deliverables and teams.
- Graphics for Models and Frameworks
- Develop custom visuals and diagrams that explain learning models, frameworks, and complex ideas in intuitive and accessible ways.
- eLearning Design Support
- Collaborate with learning designers to build assets and layouts in tools like Articulate Storyline and Rise.
- UX/UI Design Principles
- Apply design thinking and user experience principles to ensure intuitive navigation, clear information architecture, and learner engagement across digital platforms.
- Occasional Learning Design Tasks
- Support the learning design team with light content structuring, interaction concepts, or storyboard contributions — when timelines or workloads require cross-functional support.
- Cross-Functional Design Contributions
- Bring your visual expertise to a range of occasional tasks outside traditional graphic design, such as:
- Social media visuals and campaign assets
- Videography and video editing
- Basic web design or development
- Internal documentation or client-facing collateral
- AI-Accelerated Design
- Use emerging AI tools (e.g. image generation, layout automation, AI-assisted editing) to streamline workflows and enhance design quality.
đź§ Skills & ExperienceMust-Have:
- 2–4 years of experience in a graphic or visual design role
- Advanced PowerPoint skills and visual storytelling ability
- Strong command of typography, layout, colour, and hierarchy
- Confidence designing frameworks, infographics, and conceptual visuals
- Understanding of UX/UI fundamentals for digital design
Nice-to-Have / Willing to Learn:
- Exposure to or interest in eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Rise, Storyline, etc.)
- Familiarity with learning design practices and instructional design principles
- Video editing tools like Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or Descript
- AI-based design tools (e.g., Midjourney, Runway, ChatGPT for visual workflows)
