About The Role
Engineers Australia Credentials are professional recognistions that validate the qualifications, skills and competency of engineering professionals against national (and often international) standards. This role is responsible for leading the development, enhancement and ongoing management of credential-related products and frameworks, including the Program Endorsement Framework, Areas of Practice, and Capability Framework. Working at the intersection of professional standards, policy and product development, the successful candidate will play a hands-on role in shaping credential frameworks, reviewing and improving standards and models, and collaborating across the organisation to provide subject matter expertise that supports Engineers Australia's credentialing and professional development offerings. This is a full-time permanent opportunity, with flexibility to consider a 0.8 FTE arrangement for the right candidate.

In This Role You Will
- Lead the development, review and continuous improvement of engineering credential policies, standards and frameworks.
- Manage governance and quality assurance processes for existing and emerging credential products, including the Program Endorsement Framework.
- Conduct research and industry analysis to ensure credential offerings meet evolving professional, industry and member needs.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop capability frameworks, Areas of Practice, learning pathways and new credential opportunities.
- Engage with education providers, industry partners and professional bodies to align credentials with workforce capability requirements and emerging competencies.
- Monitor credential performance, support audits and compliance activities, manage reporting and risk, and drive ongoing product innovation and improvement.
- Degree-qualified engineer (preferred), with a strong understanding of the Australian engineering profession, credentialing frameworks and professional standards.
- Proven knowledge of engineering qualifications, competency assessment, professional practice and credentialing requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience developing policies, guidance materials, training resources, reports and Board papers.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship management skills, with the ability to navigate complex conversations and drive outcomes across diverse groups.
- Highly organised and analytical, with demonstrated experience in quality assurance, continuous improvement, critical thinking and developing innovative solutions.
