We are a rapidly growing high energy accounting firm that is breaking the stigmas of what accounting firms used to be. We work in the hospitality sector only and work closely with the team at Foodie Coaches helping hospo business owners to work less hours in their business and take home more $ each day.

The Role: 

As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in elevating our client data entry system and software accuracy to new heights. You will be responsible for managing junior bookkeepers, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and maintaining strong client relationships. If you have a passion for the hospitality industry or love dining out, that's a huge plus!

What We're Looking For:

• Comfortably produce accurate & timely data
• Come from a strong accounting background in a similar position minimum 2 years
• Outstanding abilities in client relations and communication to cultivate trustworthy and professional connections, coupled with strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and communicate within a team setting
• Strong Balance Sheet understanding and reconciliation skills
• Comfortably produce clear financial reports
• Attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills (with clients and team members alike).
• Previous experience of Xero & Google Workspace
• Experience in hospitality, or a love of eating & dining out is a big PLUS
• Strong organisational skills

Responsibilities:

• Hold team members accountable to financial tasks
• Onboard new clients & standardise software files
• Provide regular financial reports and oversee payroll processing
• Understand and manage client cashflow

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in related role
• Cert IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting or similar
• Familiarity of Xero, DEXT, Hubdoc, Google, Restoke, Lightspeed, Square & Deputy an advantage
