As an Integrity Officer at GHD, you will play a pivotal role in building and upholding a culture of ethical conduct, transparency, and accountability across our global operation. This role is central to delivering GHD’s enterprise Integrity Program and is responsible for providing timely, high-quality advice to the business on integrity and compliance matters. Key Responsibilities:
- Policies and Integrity Management Plan
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures that promote ethical behaviour and mitigate integrity risks.
- Ensure the Integrity Management Plan is updated as required and key deliverables are undertaken
- Operationalise GHD’s Code of Conduct, Integrity Policy and associated Standards.
- Integrity Advice
- Provide advice and direction on Integrity queries
- Superior knowledge of conflicts of interest obligations and ability to communicate requirements to the business
- Integrity Risk Assessments
- Undertake integrity risk assessments across the enterprise and ensure that the Integrity Management Plan includes any actions required to addresses key risk areas
- Integrity Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor compliance with Integrity requirements and external regulations.
- Prepare reports and briefings for senior leadership on integrity-related matters including integrity incidents.
- Investigations & Case Management
- Conduct investigations into alleged misconduct, fraud, or breaches of policy.
- Maintain confidential records and ensure procedural fairness in all investigations.
- Training & Awareness
- Design and deliver integrity training.
- Promote awareness of integrity and provide lessons learned from integrity incidents.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate integrity risks.
- Liaise with external bodies, regulators, and auditors as required.
About You:
- Tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, Governance, or a related field.
- Admission as a lawyer is desirable but not essential
- Demonstrated experience in integrity, compliance, legal, or risk-related roles.
- Strong understanding of ethical principles, governance frameworks, and regulatory environments.
- Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust.
- Understanding of whistleblower protection frameworks.
- Ability to manage sensitive matters with diplomacy and confidentiality.
- Experience with case management systems and compliance tools is advantageous.
